Rockin' In The Free World

  Rockin’ In The Free World را احتمالا همه ي شما شنيده ايد. اين آهنگ در دهه 80 توسط خواننده افسانه اي موسيقي راك كه خود من بسيار دوستش دارم يعني Neil Young نوشته شد. درباره ايشان قبلا مفصل نوشته ام. اين آهنگ يك قطعه اعتراضي بي نقص است.

اما اين كه چطور شد آقاي Young اين آهنگ را نوشتند بدين شكل است : در طي يكي از تورهاي جهاني در 1989 ايشان در يكي از روزنامه ها عكسي از مراسم تدفين آقاي خميني مي بينند. چيزي كه ايشان رو تحت تاثير قرار مي دهد غم و اندوه ، و عصبانيت شديد مردم بود كه پرچم امريكا رو مي سوزاندند و شعار مي دادند. در اين حين ايشان (به گفته خودش) تاسف عميقي مي خورد كه چرا با وجود مشكلات سياسي و اجتماعي فراواني كه در كشورش وجود دارد ، دولتمردان به مسائل سياسي كشور هاي ديگر دخالت مي كنند. پس تصميم گرفت با نوشتن اين آهنگ اعتراض خود را به رئيس جمهور وقت اعلام دارد.

  Rockin’ In The Free World آنقدر مشهور شد كه تقريبا همه موزيسين ها، رسمي يا غير رسمي آن را كاور كرده اند و به آن افتخار مي كنند. Pearl Jam ، Maroon5 ، Jon Bon Jovi ، Joe Satriani بعضي از مشهور ترينها هستند. اين آهنگ 214 اُمين موزيك برتر جهان در همه سبكها و در تمام زمانهاست.
